The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to first responders and military families. It was established in honor of Frank's heroic brother, Stephen, who lost his life while performing his firefighting duties during the 9/11 tragedy.
“Frank, I’m honored to support you. I’m honored to say your brother Stephen is a f*cking – excuse me – is a hero,” McGregor said. For those unfamiliar, T2T is a remarkable organization that not only pays tribute to first responders and American heroes but also supports them in times of need. The foundation's origins can be traced back to Stephen's selfless sacrifice over two decades ago when despicable terrorists launched an attack on our nation.
2T organizes a significant annual race to commemorate Stephen's sacrifice, and the foundation has raised an astounding $500 million to support heroes in distress. According to the organization's website, 95% of the funds "directly go to our programs."
Moreover, this isn't McGregor's inaugural donation to the cause. Overall, McGregor has contributed $3.7 million to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation through Proper No. Twelve.
