Chick-fil-A enthusiasts in the East Brandon/Valrico area of Florida are in for a high-tech treat. The branch at 1504 E. Brandon Blvd has introduced a novel delivery method – drones.
Available from Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., customers within a 1.2-mile radius of the restaurant can opt for this aerial delivery service. To access it, they simply need to choose "Chick-fil-A Delivery" while placing their order through the app.
For a limited period, this futuristic service is being offered without any additional charge, as highlighted by the restaurant on their social media channels.
In a Facebook video, the restaurant showcased the complete drone delivery process. It starts with a customer ordering food and ends with the drone smoothly lowering the order onto a grass-covered spot.
The location also noted that the drone is capable of delivering beverages, which are securely sealed before leaving the premises.
