In a recently published interview, Lainey Wilson, known for her role in the TV show "Yellowstone" and her country music career, shared a surprising revelation. The 31-year-old actress and singer disclosed that she has been in a secret relationship for over two years.
Lainey Wilson joined the cast of "Yellowstone" in its fifth season, portraying the love interest of bunkhouse cowboy Ryan, played by Ian Bohen. Prior to her acting career, Wilson had gained recognition as a successful country music artist. During an appearance on "The Bobby Bones Show," she candidly disclosed that she has been romantically involved with former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges, much to the surprise of fans.
Although Hodges and Wilson walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards held in May, their relationship had remained concealed until the recent interview. Wilson explained to Bobby Bones that Hodges had been a part of her life for quite some time, but she deliberately chose to keep their romance under wraps for two and a half years, making him wait patiently.
In addition, she described her partner as a "good dude" who comprehends the delicate balance between a thriving career in the spotlight and maintaining meaningful relationships in everyday life. He knows what it’s like chasing a dream because he’s done that for himself. He was in the NFL. He tried out literally for the Steelers and made it and had a really great run with them. Went out to LA Rams and did that,” Wilson continued.
Speculations began to circulate about their relationship when Lainey Wilson showcased her support for Devlin Hodges by wearing one of his jerseys during a concert held in Pittsburgh in April, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Interestingly, it appears that Hodges has formed friendships with Wilson's acquaintances in the music industry, including HARDY and Cole Swindell. The couple would frequently engage in FaceTime conversations, with Hodges occasionally joining the company of one or more of Wilson's friends. This endearing dynamic amused and delighted Wilson, highlighting the charm and humor in their relationship.
