Remember when Senator Kamala Harris said that the United States should be "welcoming" to illegal immigrants arriving at our southern border?
Oh yes. Harris told a CNN reporter in 2018 that the migrants caravans arriving at our borders were full of job-seekers, and that we should be "welcoming" and "tolerant" towards them.
“We are a country that … our strength has always been that we are a tolerant country, that we are welcoming, in particular, those who have fled harm,” Harris said. “And the idea that we’re vilifying any one group and the fear-mongering, that’s not in the best interest of our country.”
“What our country wants and what the people of our country want is they want leaders who are focused on the challenges that they face every day,” she added. “Like can they put food on the table and pay the bills by the end of the month … not vilifying one group for the sake of fear-mongering and politics.”
Interesting that she thinks we should cater to people who enter our country illegally. The left did their best to portray the caravans as asylum-seekers, yet it was confirmed that they were mostly illegal aliens that had been previously deported and wanted their jobs back.

CNN doesn't even wait for the body to get cold before moving on to the next step. On Tuesday, editor-at-large Chris Cilizza suggested that former Vice President Joe Biden “step aside” for running mate Kamala Harris to take the reins.
