'I Have Boobs': Fox News Anchor Rips Transgender Women Promoting Sports Bras

Julie Banderas, the anchor for Fox News, was very direct in her comments about Nike's collaboration with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender activist who identifies as a woman but is biologically male.

Brian Kilmeade from Fox News played sponsor clips featuring Mulvaney for various companies including Nike and Bud Lite, and questioned why these companies would think that such marketing would be effective.

“I’m confused as to why any woman would look at a trans woman and say, ‘Oh, yeah, I got to get that sports bra.’ I don’t understand. I mean, for branding purposes alone, you are trying to sell. Isn’t that what this business is all about?” Banderas asked mockingly.

“So as a woman, I’m going to tell you a little secret: I have boobs and I wear sports bras,” Banderas stated. “And sports bras control our bodies when we go running. But women who are trans are not my body.”

“I’m not going to buy something off of a man who is now a trans woman based on the fact that she happens to enjoy a sports bra when she doesn’t have the same body parts. It just doesn’t make any sense,” she finished.

A post by Mulvaney featured pictures and videos of them wearing Zenvy leggings and an Alate bra, along with the caption, “Home for a moment and leaning into cozy workout wear life with [Nike Women]’s newest Zenvy leggings and Alate bra! They’re so comfortable and buttery soft, perfect for workouts and everyday wear! #feelyourall #teamnike #nikepartner.”

Meghan Maureen took to Twitter to mock the campaign stating, “Omg thank you Nike for finally making women’s leggings that hold your balls in tight while you twirl around in the yard like a little girl! I’ve been looking everywhere!”
