Former President Donald Trump has always made giving nicknames a big part of his approach to politics. Who could forget "Little Marco" or "Lyin' Ted Cruz"?
Perhaps with an eye on a potential 2024 primary showdown, Trump has now created a nickname for Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Interesting timing, with this nickname being given just two days before a crucial midterm election for DeSantis.
Trump also used the poll results to take a shot at former Vice President Mike Pence. "Mike Pence at 7, oh, Mike's doing better than I thought."
Just a day later Trump walked back his nickname and endorsed him for the Florida gubernatorial race. While at it he also tipped his cap to "Little" Marco Rubio.
“The people of Florida are going to reelect the wonderful, the great friend of mine, Marco Rubio, to the United States Senate, and you’re going to reelect Ron DeSantis as your governor,” Trump said.
