The son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison tweeted his unequivocal support for Antifa after President Trump announced they would be declared a "Terrorist Organization." The tweet was a response to President Trump announcing that Antifa will be designated as a "Terrorist Organization."
Jeremiah Ellison was once a member of the Minneapolis City Council. In the tweet, he said that "white power" terrorists are actually making the looting, arson and other riot activities happen.

On Saturday President Trump tweeted that is was Antifa and the radical left who is orchestrating the trouble.
Mayor Jacob Frey is among Democrats who seek to lay at least some of the blame at the feet of "white supremacists."
We are now confronting white supremacists, members of organized crime, out of state instigators, and possibly even foreign actors to destroy and destabilize our city and our region.

This isn't the first time the Ellison family has thrown support behind Antifa. In 2018 Ellison tweeted about a book promoting their movement.

There are some serious issues going on in this country that need to be addressed. That said, the solution is NOT supporting Antifa, a group that thrives on the destruction and demolition of the United States of America.
