You didn't really believe that Snoop Dogg was quitting his famous habit, did you?
Just recently, the renowned rapper and globally recognized enthusiast of cannabis appeared to hint at a shift in his way of life. He made this surprising revelation through a post on his Instagram account.
“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” he wrote. “Please respect my privacy at this time.”

It's hard to believe that Snoop would actually give up cannabis, isn't it?
The iconic rapper, known as the Doggfather, has launched two cannabis brands, Leafs by Snoop and Death Row Cannabis. Could his mention of quitting "smoke" imply a switch to non-smoking options like vaporizers or edibles?
However, it turns out that's not the case. It was actually a clever marketing move.
On Monday, Snoop announced a collaboration with Solo Stove, a company known for its smokeless fire pits. This move once again demonstrates that the artist behind Doggystyle is not only a musical legend but also a savvy marketer and entrepreneur.

“I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much,” Snoop said in a release. “Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family.”
Through this partnership, the iconic D-O-double-G becomes the official spokesperson for the brand. Solo Stove will offer limited edition products featuring the hip hop mogul's name and emblem.
