Psaki Ripped for 'Disgusting' Comments About JD Vance's Wife

Jen Psaki is facing backlash after taking a swipe at Sen. JD Vance and his wife during a recent podcast appearance.

“I think the little Manchurian candidate, JD Vance, wants to be president more than anything else,” Psaki said. “I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. We’ll come over here. We’ll save you.”

She went on to call Vance “young, ambitious, and agile,” labeling him a “chameleon” who says whatever his audience wants to hear. The podcast episode even doubled down on the joke in its description, saying, “Usha Vance, please blink twice if you need help.”

Critics immediately blasted Psaki’s comments as cruel and uncalled for.

“Not a good person. At all,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha wrote.

Libs of TikTok called her remarks “unhinged,” saying Psaki smeared Vance’s marriage and called him “scarier than Trump.” The account added, “@MSNBC should be ashamed to pay her salary.”

Townhall’s Amy Curtis said Psaki’s mockery was “absolutely vile,” pointing out that Usha Vance is happily married and that Psaki’s words “insult women in real bad marriages.”

White House communications director Steven Cheung didn’t hold back, calling Psaki a “moron” who “has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things.”

Others joined in, with Federalist correspondent Margot Cleveland joking, “The pivot to ‘JD Vance is worse than Hitler’ started earlier than I anticipated.”

Turning Point USA’s Jack Posobiec noted the irony, pointing out that “Usha is accompanying JD right now in Israel securing the Gaza Peace Deal,” calling Psaki’s comments “absolutely disgusting.”
