An OnlyFans model gathered $10,000 through sales of artistic content to aid wildfire relief in Maui, Hawaii.
GoFundMe allegedly discontinued the campaign of Mariah Casillas, also known as Lavagrll, due to her approach of fundraising with intimate photos for the Maui fire support. Yet, Casillas transitioned her efforts to OnlyFans, as noted by TMZ. Before the halt by GoFundMe, the Honolulu-based model had amassed $7,800. Casillas contends that the explicit content was never posted on GoFundMe.
After the suspension, the platform returned all the contributions, prompting her to redirect her campaign to OnlyFans, as cited by TMZ.
She made a post to X, which has since been deleted:
Moved my fundraiser to OF. Free trial for 30 days right now.
Drop your donations on my pinned post and let’s get to work ????
$10 = 1 NUDE
— lava (@lavagrll)
The strategy seems to have worked. Casillas informed TMZ that she has raised more than $10,000 to date.
For every $10 donation, she offered an artistic photo, as mentioned on her Twitter.
"$10 = 1 NUDE" she posted.
F*ck it, sending nudes to everyone who donates at least $10 to my Maui wildfire fundraiser. I love this beautiful island too much.
RT and DM me after donation, I’ll be checking 😉 pic.twitter.com/Yn6XrIOfkp

“I wanted people to be able to tag along and see the progress that the [OnlyFans] page was making. It being on my OnlyFans does deter some people,” Casillas said during an interview with TMZ. “It’s still there, and we’re still making a lot of money. We made a lot of money, honestly, as soon as it went live.”
