NFL Fans in Germany Join Together in Singing Classic American Song in a Special Moment

The NFL played their first-ever game in Germany over the weekend and it was a big-time success.

The crowd inside Allianz Arena in Munich was high-energy from beginning to end. Perhaps the best moment in the game was outside of the action on the field when the crowd joined in singing John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” in unison.

Sports continue to be a great place for fans to come together and share special moments. In a time with much division it's great to see a moment like this.

The fans in the stadium also took part in the longstanding tradition called "The Wave."

The Wave is mostly reserved for blowout baseball games or when there is a lull in the action, instead of when the greatest quarterback of all-time, Tom Brady, is driving his team down the field in a competitive game. Either way, a good time was had by all at the NFL action in Germany.
