Megyn Kelly Advises On Only Two Situations You Should Be 'Mouth-Kissing' After 'Bizarre' Kiss Between Dr. Jill-VP Husband

Megyn Kelly expressed her discomfort upon witnessing the lip lock between Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff, husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, at Tuesday's State of the Union address.

On Wednesday's episode of "The Megyn Kelly Show" on Sirius XM, the host discussed the much-talked-about kiss between First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff with guests Charles C. Cooke and Jeremy Peters. They characterized the kiss as "gross" and the conversation begins at 49:24 minutes into the show.

Kelly stated that there are only two acceptable situations for that type of kissing on the mouth, and she believed that Jill Biden's greeting of Vice President Kamala Harris's husband ahead of the State of the Union address was not one of them.

Check it out:

“People should not be mouth kissing ever if it’s not your husband or your spouse,” Kelly shared. “Here is Kamala’s husband and Joe Biden’s wife kissing on the mouth, I’m sorry, secondhand uncomfortable…”

“Not ever,” she continued. “Don’t kiss me on my mouth. Don’t do it. In fact, don’t kiss me, and probably don’t hug me either. Just like the wave or a pat, I’ll take that.”

“Definitely no mouth kissing,” Kelly continued, as footage played showing the kiss from the SOTU. “Gross. I don’t know where your mouth’s been, and I don’t want to know.”

Megyn Kelly wasn't the only person who found the kiss strange.

“Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff greet each other with… a kiss on the lips?” Cabot Phillips tweeted. “Is this… normal?”

Another Twitter user asked, “WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL? Did [FLOTUS] and [Second Gentleman] just kiss on live national television? #SOTU #sotu2023.”

This isn't the first strange public day of affection by someone in the Biden administration. As soon as President Joe Biden arrived at the Detroit Auto Show, hand-in-hand with Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer, social media users were quick to express their opinions. A video of their arrival captured the two leaders walking and chatting while holding hands. However, some users on the internet deemed the hand-holding as "creepy" and "strange."
