A New Jersey gym defied the state lockdown orders on Monday. Police showed up on the scene and a crowd formed outside the gym. A very angry crowd because they figured they were about to be shut down. Well, they were wrong.
When the police officers showed up the crowd assumed the worst and that's they were about to be shut down. The crowd was so fired up it was hard for the cop to get his message across.
Finally, it became quiet enough for the officer to deliver his message.
“We are and we’re only here for everybody’s safety today,” the officer told the crowd. “We planned for the worst, hoped for the best, and it seems like that’s what we have out here today. Formally, you are all in violation of the executive order.”
At that moment the officer's message took a turn no one expected.
“On that note, have a good day,” he said. "Everybody be safe.”
And on that note, the policeman turned and walked away.
At this point, the crowd went wild. They broke into the "USA! USA!" chant.
