Chris Pratt Gives Advice to Couples Thinking About Starting a Family

When he's not bringing high-octane characters to life on the big screen, Chris Pratt immerses himself in the rewarding role of a devoted father to his three children. The actor, known for his performances in the Marvel universe, openly shared his experiences about parenting and passionately urged others to consider starting a family at their earliest convenience.

"People say all the time, ‘Don’t rush to have kids.’ I personally disagree. Rush. Have them," 43-year-old Pratt said during an interview with Men’s Journal.

"Of course, make sure you find a great partner but don’t wait."

The remarks from the star of "Guardians of the Galaxy" were made following a conversation with renowned comedian and close friend, Adam Sandler, who had shared some fatherly wisdom with Pratt.

"I was talking to Adam Sandler a while back and he said, ‘Every day you wait is a day they don’t get to have you in their life,’" Pratt shared.

"The younger you have kids, the more time they get to have with you. It’s wild. Having kids is incredible. The things you normally take for granted in life are new."

Pratt is the proud parent of three children. His daughters, Lyla and Eloise, were born to him and his current wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, while his son, Jack, is from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
