John Stamos has candidly discussed his past struggles with alcohol consumption.
At the height of his challenges with alcohol, the star from "Full House" admitted he has no memory of filming "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2."
Stamos, now 60, was taken into custody on June 12, 2015, on allegations of impaired driving and subsequently required medical attention. He detailed how his excessive drinking severely affected his recollection.
"I was just with Rita Wilson and Nia [Vardalos] in Greece and I realized, I forgot that the next day [after the arrest] they said, 'Oh, you got to go to Toronto. You're in ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,'" Stamos shared Sirius XM's "The Howard Stern Show." "I’m like, ‘What?’ I don’t remember being on that set."

Stamos portrayed Wilson's boyfriend of Greek-American descent in the 2016 movie.
Upon returning from the film's shoot, he recalled how his loved ones intervened and persuaded him to seek rehabilitation.
"As soon as I came back from Toronto and ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding,’ my sisters were there and my agents and everybody was like, ‘OK. It’s time,’" Stamos said. "It wasn’t even an intervention. It was like, ‘We packed your bags, you’re going.'"
Stamos mentioned he's now been sober for eight years.
While struggling with alcohol, the actor admitted to reaching a personal low. He felt particularly downhearted due to multiple challenging life events, notably the passing of his parents and the end of his marriage.
In his recent memoir, "If You Would Have Told Me," he openly discusses his split from former spouse Rebecca Romijn.
Stamos and the former supermodel, who later transitioned to acting in superhero roles, started their relationship in 1994. They tied the knot in September 1998, but by August 2004, Stamos had initiated divorce proceedings.
