Adam Sandler Reveals Advice He Would Give to Daughters If They Plan Hollywood Career

Adam Sandler shared that he advises his daughters to only "judge yourself" if they choose to pursue a career in Hollywood.

At the premiere of his latest animated Netflix film, "Leo," the 57-year-old actor was photographed with his family, including his 17-year-old daughter Sadie and 15-year-old daughter Sunny, as well as his wife Jackie. They all contributed to the production of the movie.

“I tell them to make sure you feel good about what you do and how hard you worked, and you judge yourself,” Sandler said to People magazine about the career advice. “Don’t let too many people try to get in your head. If you feel like you gave it your all, that’s all you can ask.”

The star of "Grown Ups" spoke about the experience of working with his family once more. They were part of his most recent film released earlier this year, titled "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah."

“[It’s] always fun to be with my family,” Sandler said. “It’s kind of what they are thinking about getting into and their passion, and so it’s good to learn with them.”

Sandler suggested that his family might join him in a future project.

“You never know, but we had a great time at that bat mitzvah movie,” he said. “And this one, we started doing this four years ago, and they grew up a little bit while doing this movie, so it’s been really nice.”

Sandler's daughters have built up a significant acting portfolio, featuring in over 20 of their father's films, including titles like “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan,” “Bedtime Stories,” and “Grown Ups.”

Adam and his wife Jackie's first encounter was during the filming of his 1999 comedy “Big Daddy.” They have since collaborated on various projects, such as “Little Nicky” (2000) and “Eight Crazy Nights” (2002), and married in 2003.
