Reflecting this growing demand, a new non-alcoholic bar is set to open in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Umbrella Dry Bar, Raleigh's latest addition to the non-alcoholic bar scene, is gearing up for a grand celebration on New Year's Eve, preceding its official opening on January 5th.
Meg Paradise, the owner, shared that the bar initially began as a pop-up concept. Its increasing popularity led to the decision to establish it as a permanent venue.
Paradise expressed her desire to create an environment where patrons can enjoy a social setting without the pressure to purchase alcoholic drinks.

"It’s a Wednesday so I’m not gonna drink, then you go up to the bar and you kind of freeze, and you’re like what do you have, and ya know it’s sort of just a weird situation," she said.
