President Donald Trump didn’t hold back Tuesday morning as he vented frustration over the latest flare-up between Israel and Iran. “They don’t know what the **** they’re doing,” he said bluntly.
Trump made the remarks while departing the White House for a NATO summit. His comments came just hours after both nations exchanged missile fire — despite a ceasefire he brokered the night before.
"I'm not happy with Israel," Trump told reporters. "You know, when I say, okay, now you have 12 hours, you don't go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them."
He wasn’t any more pleased with the other side. "I'm not happy with Iran either, but I'm really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning," he said. "We basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don't know what the **** they're doing."
Trump then took to Truth Social to issue a direct warning. “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”
Minutes later, he announced a sudden change in plans. “ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!”
He ended with a bold claim: “IRAN WILL NEVER REBUILD THEIR NUCLEAR FACILITIES!”
The ceasefire, announced Monday night, was brokered by Qatar’s prime minister after Iran launched limited strikes on the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base. Trump had dubbed the conflict a “12-day war.”
But the truce quickly began to unravel. A senior Israeli official told Fox News that Iran had fired two more missiles toward Israel just hours after agreeing to the deal. “We believe they are trying to fire more in the next couple of hours,” the official said.
“Unfortunately, the Iranians have decided to continue to fire toward Israel,” the official added. “Now we will have to retaliate… It could end within several hours, but they need to make a decision.”
