Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden has renewed his push to ban "assault weapons" and infringe on our Second Amendment rights. The National Rifle Association (NRA) responded to his demands with one simple challenge: "Come and take it."
Earlier this week Biden tweeted, “As president, I’ll take on the powerful gun lobby to pass universal background checks, ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and close loopholes to keep guns out of dangerous hands. We can and will end our gun violence epidemic.”
He added later, “Weapons of war have no place in our communities. When I was a senator, I took on the @NRA and secured a 10-year ban on assault weapons — and as president, I’ll ban these weapons again.”

The NRA replied with their own tweet, “Joe and his supporters fear-monger using words like “assault weapon” to describe America’s most popular home defense rifle – the AR-15 – or ‘AR-14’ to Joe.”
They added, “Joe – We’ll say it real slow. Come and Take It.”
Clearly Joe didn't write this tweet. The complete sentences gave it away.

President Donald Trump also responded to Biden and the Democrats call to ban assault weapons and warned, "Just like Radical Left New York is trying to destroy the NRA, if Biden becomes President your GREAT SECOND AMENDMENT doesn’t have a chance. Your guns will be taken away, immediately and without notice. No police, no guns!"
