You would think a Twitter beef between Ted Cruz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would favor the young, upstart leftist from the Bronx. Think again.
Cruz took to Twitter Sunday morning, wondering why presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden refused to condemn the people tearing down statues.
Dems support the riots. The vandals. The anarchists.
That’s their base. And they’re terrified to offend them. https://t.co/B5nRPRGBYM

Ocasio-Cortez fired back by claiming that since the Democratic Party elected Joe Biden, their base is not the hard-leftists.
Yes, that is precisely why the party nominated... Joe Biden https://t.co/ZFx5YAnd9b

Is it me, or is the GOP losing their touch with the conspiracy-theory-as-campaign-rhetoric technique?

This was when Cruz fired back with an incredible response, pointing out the base Biden is afraid to offend.
You’re the base he’s terrified of.
Do you support:
1) Tearing down statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson & Abraham Lincoln?
2) Destroying Mt. Rushmore.
3) Abolishing the police.
4) Acquiescing to “autonomous” lawless zones like CHAZ/CHOP?
5) ANTIFA mob violence? https://t.co/qJCM6Z7yjt

She has yet to respond to Cruz's last tweet about the hard-leftists who are manipulating the Democratic Party.
This won't be the last fiery Twitter exchange between Ted Cruz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
