Welcome to 2021, where Joe Biden can fraudulently sit in the White House with dementia (or something of the sort) but a lawyer cannot be an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump without being accused of being mentally ill and threatened to lose their license.
Attorney Lin Wood stood strong with American Patriots after the GOP turned their slimy swamp backs on President Trump. He worked hard to expose the fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
He was quickly suspended from Twitter for “hate speech” following the US Capitol riot, so he went to Parler to communicate with patriots. He wrote, “I have been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours. Please let my Twitter Followers know that I am fine. The bad actors may be after the President & his supporters. So be wise, have discernment, & be careful. Pray for our country.”
However, Amazon removed Parler from their servers in an attempt to censor free speech. So now Wood is posting on Telegram. On Thursday, he told his followers that the State Bar of Georgia is now threatening to take away his law license if he does not undergo a mental health exam.
Of course....take a person you don’t agree with and attempt to silence them. Will this become the norm with the left now that Biden sits in the White House?
US News reported:
An attorney licensing body on Friday said it has asked L. Lin Wood, a lawyer who played a key role in Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn his election defeat, to undergo a mental health evaluation.
Wood said on the app Telegram on Thursday that the State Bar of Georgia had told him he needed to submit to the evaluation to keep his law license.
“My mind is sound. I have broken no rules. I asked what I had done wrong. I was only told it was about my social media comments. My speech,” he wrote.
Wood did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
State Bar of Georgia Chief Operating Officer Sarah Coole confirmed that Wood had been asked to undergo a mental health evaluation but declined to comment further.
The development comes weeks after Wood, an Atlanta-based defamation litigator, was banned from Twitter, where he regularly embraced conspiracy theories.
A Delaware state judge earlier this month blocked Wood from representing former Trump adviser Carter Page, calling claims Wood made on Twitter about U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts “too disgusting and outrageous to repeat.”

Native American Tribe Condemns Biden Administration’s Secretarial Order
On Thursday, January 21, the day after President Joe Biden’s inauguration, a Native American tribe issued a blistering letter to Biden’s Acting Secretary of the Interior, Scott de la Vega, blasting his Secretarial Order No. 3395. As Energy In Depth reports, the Order “temporarily suspends delegations of authority regarding leasing and permitting on federal lands, with a significantly reduced staff able to approve such items. This order does not halt leasing or existing development, and at its face is a temporary measure, but is certain to create bottlenecks that last well-beyond the 60-day limit on the order.”
De la Vega started serving on January 21, and will remain in an interim capacity until Biden’s nominee, Deb Haaland, is confirmed. The Department of the Interior defended Order No. 3395 by writing, “The Order does not impact existing ongoing operations under valid leases and does not preclude the issuance of leases, permits and other authorizations by those specified. In addition, any actions necessary in the event of an incident that might pose a threat to human health, welfare, or safety will continue.”
