Landon Donovan should start his own PR firm. He handled his viral hair moment like a true professional.
During Monday's Euro 2024 broadcast, Donovan appeared with a shaved back of his head. The front of his scalp had some strange growth. I had to look up the scalp areas for my journalist duties.
The Internet went wild. "What's up with Landon Donovan's hair?" they asked. Was his barber blind? Did he get pranked? Was it hazing?
Hold on, everyone. Landon has an explanation.
"Where were you 7 hours ago???" Donovan asked his ex-teammate Mike Magee, who texted him, puzzled.
"I had a hair transplant two weeks ago," Donovan clarified. "I was told it wouldn't show on camera."
When Magee inquired about posting this news, Donovan responded like a pro.
"Post it. Go for it. The damage is done. The screenshot is forever," Donovan said.
