Remember the St. Louis couple who went viral as "Ken and Karen" after pointing guns at protesters? Authorities have executed a search warrant at the home of the couple.
According to local news stations KMOV and KSDK, the warrant was carried out Friday at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey at the affluent Central West End neighborhood in St. Louis.
The KSDK report stated that the rifle Mark McCloskey was holding was seized by authorities.
Back on June 29 St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner commented on the investigation into the matter.
"My office is currently working with the public and the police to investigate these events," she said. "Make no mistake: We will not tolerate the use of force against those exercising their First Amendment rights, and will use the full power of Missouri law to hold people accountable."
There are several Missouri laws that could protect the McCloskeys including "stand your ground" and the "castle doctrine" as well as open carry.
At this point, no charges have been brought against the couple.
