Sarah Sanders Blasts Harris For Blaming 2024 Fail On Timing, Reveals Why She Thinks It Happened

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders tore into former Vice President Kamala Harris this week, accusing her of trying to rewrite the story of her failed 2024 presidential run.

“The revisionist history that Kamala has is pretty laughable,” Sanders said Wednesday on Fox & Friends. “It wasn’t that she didn’t have enough time. It’s that she doesn’t have any good ideas.”

Sanders argued voters had already judged Harris based on her time in the Biden administration. “America had already seen what an administration under her leadership would look like: failed, disastrous, open borders, tons of crime, high inflation. And people didn’t want that anymore. They rejected her and her ideas.”

Her comments followed Harris’ Tuesday appearance on ABC’s The View, where the former vice president reflected on why her campaign collapsed after just 107 days. “Probably one of the biggest in my mind is we just didn’t have enough time,” Harris told the hosts.

She also revisited her infamous 2024 moment on The View, when she was asked whether she would have done anything differently in the Biden administration. At the time, she answered, “not a thing comes to mind,” a response that critics say hurt her candidacy.

This week, Harris defended that answer, saying her loyalty to Biden kept her from drawing sharper contrasts. “I didn’t fully appreciate how much people wanted to know there was a difference between me and President Biden,” she explained. “I thought it was obvious. And I didn’t want to offer a difference in a way that would be received or suggested to be a criticism.”

But Sanders pushed back, insisting Harris lost because she “had nothing to offer,” not because of her ties to Biden. She contrasted Harris with President Donald Trump, pointing to his recent high-profile meetings with world leaders, including his speech at the United Nations General Assembly. “Can you imagine if Kamala Harris was dealing with and in the position that Donald Trump was in? He’s cleaning up all of their messes, not making them worse.”

Sanders said Harris’ book promotion and TV appearances only reinforce voters’ rejection of her. “When she does interviews like that, it only reminds us even more why we’re glad Donald Trump is back in the White House.”
