Popular hip-hop rapper Dababy was booted from Lollapalooza's line-up after it became known that he made "homophobic" remarks.
The music festival booted the artist's performance with a tweet that read, “Lollapalooza was founded on diversity, inclusivity, respect, and love,” they added, “With that in mind, DaBaby will no longer be performing at Grant Park tonight. Young Thug will now perform at 9:00 pm on the Bud Light Seltzer Stage, and G Herbo will perform at 4:00 pm on the T-Mobile Stage.”

This came after the rapper made comments to the crown at Rolling Loud Miami last month that were deemed homophobic. He allegedly said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put [up] your cellphone, light it up."
DaBaby added, “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lights up!”

Despite the backlash, his fans and fellow rappers are defending his actions. For example, famous rapper T.I. blasted people for bulling DaBaby in a new video.
“Why do words cause such a visceral reaction that will lead to someone trying to attack, villainize, demonize, crucify, and condemn?” he said. “That s**t is like, now you [Sic] bullying. We all stopped up on behalf of gays and lesbians and people in the gay community because we thought it was some bulls**t for ya’ll [Sic] to have to be bullied. But I don’t think any of us did that to feel like you would now have the authority to come and bully us.”
