President Trump Predicts Cuba Is Ready To Fall Following Maduro Capture

President Donald Trump issued a series of blunt warnings from Air Force One late Sunday, predicting the imminent collapse of the Cuban government. Following the high-stakes capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, Trump asserted that Havana is now "ready to fall" without its primary benefactor.

The President stated that the ouster of Maduro has severed the lifeline of subsidized oil and security that has long sustained the island’s communist regime. When asked if he was planning military action against Cuba, Trump replied, "I think it’s just going to fall. I don’t think we need any action. It looks like it’s going down."

Trump also turned his attention to Colombia, launching a personal attack on President Gustavo Petro. He described Colombia as a "very sick" nation and accused its leadership of actively facilitating the cocaine trade into the United States.

"Colombia is run by a sick man who likes making cocaine and selling it to the United States," Trump told reporters. He warned that this dynamic "is not going to be doing it for a very long time," suggesting that further U.S. interventions in the region may be on the horizon.

Beyond South America, Trump reiterated his determination to acquire Greenland, calling it an "absolute necessity" for national security. He argued that the territory is currently "covered with Russian and Chinese ships," and that Denmark is no longer capable of securing it.

The President’s comments follow Saturday's "Operation Absolute Resolve," where U.S. forces successfully captured Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. The raid also resulted in the deaths of 32 Cuban security officers who were reportedly serving as Maduro’s personal bodyguards.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed that Cuban operatives had effectively "colonized" Venezuela’s security apparatus. Rubio noted that Maduro relied entirely on Cuban guards because he did not trust his own people to remain loyal.

As Maduro prepares for his arraignment in New York today, the Trump administration appears to be invoking a modernized "Don-roe Doctrine." The White House has made it clear that they will no longer tolerate hostile foreign influence or narco-terrorism in the Western Hemisphere.
