Popular Ice Cream Recalled For Possible Stone Contamination

A voluntary recall has been issued for a popular non-dairy ice cream due to the potential presence of foreign objects. Danone USA announced the nationwide recall on Tuesday for specific pint containers.

The safety alert impacts So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints. Company officials noted that the dessert may contain small stones and other hard objects within the cashew inclusions.

The affected items are packaged in standard pint containers. The recall specifically applies to products carrying best-by dates on and before April 3, 2028.

Shoppers can identify the recalled items using SKU 136603 and UPC 744473476138. The items were distributed to retail stores across the United States.

Danone USA confirmed that the issue came to light following consumer complaints. The company promptly notified the Food and Drug Administration regarding the voluntary safety action.

Retail partners are actively working to remove the affected products from store shelves. No other So Delicious Dairy Free flavors or products are impacted by the current recall.

Consumers who purchased the recalled dessert are urged not to eat it. Affected buyers can contact the So Delicious Dairy Free Consumer Care Line at 1-833-367-8975 to request a refund or replacement coupon.
