Adele is conveying a serious admonition to global concert-goers in the wake of numerous incidents involving performers like Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerini, and Pink who have had items hurled at them while on stage.
"Have you noticed how people are like forgetting f---ing show etiquette at the moment because [they're] throwing s--- on stage? Have you seen them," Adele said to her audience at Caesars Palace.
"I f---ing dare you. Dare you throw something at me and I'll f---ing kill you," she warned the crowd while toting a T-shirt gun in her arms and pretending to fire it.
"Stop throwing things at the artist, when you can shoot things to people," Adele said, while starting to laugh.
"It's a total reverse, I've gotta go back over and give my T-shirt gun back," she joked.
The issue first surfaced last month when Rexha was struck in the face with a cellphone. The incident led to the arrest of a man and necessitated stitches for the singer in New York City.
Last weekend, during the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival in London, Pink was oddly presented with a bag of human ashes.
So instead of becoming the next victim of getting something thrown at her by a fan, Adele decided to get out in front of the issue and let the fans know she was not playing around.
