Pizza Delivery 'Wrong Order' Results in Touching Family Response

A pizza delivery mix-up in Colorado turned into a viral act of kindness after a pastor and his family prayed for a struggling delivery driver.

Pastor Neal Seiwert of Castle Rock said he and his family had ordered from Papa John’s over the weekend when the driver, Suzanna, realized she had delivered the wrong order.

“I’m sorry, I’m getting old,” Suzanna told the family, explaining that she mixed up order No. 57 with their order, No. 67. “I screwed up. I’m sorry.”

Instead of getting frustrated, Seiwert comforted her. “Don’t you, for one second, feel bad. We love you and Jesus loves you,” he told her. The family then stepped outside, placed their hands on her shoulders, and prayed for her right there on the porch.

“When she was explaining herself … I really felt the love of God for her,” Seiwert said. “I wanted to do anything I could to relieve any pressure and anxiety she was feeling.”

The touching moment was caught on their Ring doorbell camera and later shared online, where it quickly went viral — earning over 5 million views and half a million likes on Instagram.

During the prayer, Seiwert asked God to bless Suzanna and meet her needs. “She’s more important than any of these orders tonight,” he prayed. “I pray that you would open the windows of heaven over her and bring any healing she needs … any financial need to her, Lord.”

The Seiwerts later tracked Suzanna down and received her permission to start a GoFundMe to help her. The fundraiser surpassed its $25,000 goal in less than two days.

“So many people are commenting on how it brought them to tears,” Seiwert said. “There are many people who simply just need love.”

The family, preparing to move to Wichita, Kansas, to start a new church called Harvest House, said the experience reminded them how small moments can lead to big impact.

“We love. We point to Jesus,” Seiwert said. “It’s often in the small moments that we have huge opportunities to reach a broken and hurting world.”
