Even when receiving a call from the President of the United States, Dan Hurley, the head coach of the men's basketball team at the University of Connecticut, remains entirely focused on business.
After their victory over San Diego State in Houston earlier this month, Hurley's Huskies emerged as the champions of the NCAA Tournament. Typically, this would result in an invitation to the White House.
However, when the call came, Hurley chose to hit the old ignore button.
"It doesn’t come up on your caller ID like Joe Biden," Hurley said to The Athletic. "I just assumed when the president calls, it would be someone interrupting your call saying, ‘The president is on the line.’"

While he noticed the Washington D.C. 202 area code, Hurley was preoccupied with a call regarding a potential UConn recruit and didn't pay much attention to it.
"I got a voicemail," Hurley added.
Whether or not the Huskies will accept the White House invitation from President Biden remains unclear.
The Huskies have won the national hoops title five times within the past 25 years. In this instance, they exhibited remarkable dominance, triumphing over each opponent by 10 points or more.
