Two iconic restaurant chains will be combining their powers when some McDonald's locations begin to sell donuts from Krispy Kreme. The donuts will be tested at certain locations.
Starting October 26 McDonald's will offer glazed, chocolate with sprinkles and raspberry-filled donuts from Krispy Kreme. They will be offered at nine locations in the Louisville, Kentucky are, per a press release from both companies.

If the test market goes well there is a chance for McDonald's to expand this to more locations. Per the release:
McDonald’s is always looking for ways to give our fans more of what they crave, and we often conduct tests to inform future menu decisions. This small-scale test will help us understand how offering new bakery items like Krispy Kreme could impact operations in our restaurants.
So go ahead, Louisville – it’s time to try a Krispy Kreme doughnut with your fav McCafé coffee order. We can’t think of a better way to start your morning... or afternoon... or evening...
Growing up on the east coast, Krispy Kreme was always a place to definitely stop on a drive south to Florida. Those Krispy Kreme donuts are a timeless classic. Now you can start off with a McDouble and follow it up with one of those amazing glazed donuts.
No word yet if Krispy Kreme is going to start dishing out Big Macs. If we hear anything we'll let you know right away.
