Los Angeles Laker superstar LeBron James apparently lost confidence in a tweet he made back in April.
After not making the playoffs, James vowed to never miss the playoffs again. "This sh*t HURT."
With the Lakers sitting at 13-20 and in 13th place in the Western Conference, King James has apparently softened on that stance. He has since deleted the tweet.

The Lakers failed to qualify for the playoffs in the previous year, just two seasons after winning the NBA Finals. In the previous season, they were eliminated in the first round by the Phoenix Suns. They also did not make the playoffs in James' first season with the Lakers.
The Lakers are currently without Anthony Davis, who has been ruled out indefinitely due to a stress injury in his foot that occurred earlier this month. The team has not provided a specific timeline for his return.
After starting the season with a 2-12 record, the Lakers won 11 of their next 15 games. However, since Davis was injured, the team has lost four consecutive games.
James has only missed the playoffs four times in his NBA career, including his first two seasons (2003-04 and 2004-05) and the two seasons he has not qualified with the Lakers.
Despite the Lakers' poor record, LeBron is still having a strong individual season, averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists on 49.6% shooting per game.
