Joy Behar's Latest Attack Draws Warning From White House

Joy Behar is under fire after unloading on President Donald Trump during Wednesday’s episode of The View. Now, a White House spokesperson is warning that her show could be next to face cancellation.

Behar and her co-hosts were reacting to Trump’s call for former President Barack Obama to be criminally investigated for allegedly manufacturing the Russia collusion narrative. Behar took it a step further, launching a personal attack on Trump.

"Who tried to overthrow the government on Jan. 6? That was not Obama," Behar said. “He’s so jealous of Obama — because he’s trim, smart, handsome, happily married, and can sing ‘Let’s Stay Together’ better than Al Green. And Trump can’t stand it.”

The comments didn’t sit well with the White House. In a statement to Fox News Digital, spokesperson Taylor Rogers torched Behar and took aim at the show’s future.

"Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome," Rogers said. “No wonder The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. If she keeps this up, her show might be the next to get pulled off the air.”

The View quickly fired back, denying the ratings jab. A spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly that the show is “up in total viewers and women 18-49” and is enjoying “its most-watched season in four years.”

They added that The View is still “No. 1 in households and total viewers among all network daytime talk shows and news programs” for the fifth year in a row.

The feud comes just days after CBS confirmed the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. While CBS claims it was purely a financial decision, critics say Colbert’s anti-Trump tone may have played a role. Now, with The View in the crosshairs, the political pressure is rising.
