A recent episode of Israel’s “Dancing with the Stars” sparked buzz online for a comedic tribute to President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. In the Israeli version of the hit reality dance competition, “Rokdim Im Kokhavim,” two professional dancers appeared dressed as the famous couple. The Trump impersonator sported a signature blue suit and red tie, while the Melania look-alike wore the navy blue outfit from the inauguration earlier this year. As the National Anthem played, “Trump” leaned in for a kiss, only for “Melania” to push him away and adjust his tie.
The routine quickly took a comedic turn when the music switched to the Village People’s “YMCA.” The dancer portraying Melania transformed into an American flag outfit, while the Trump impersonator began showing off exaggerated, signature-style dance moves. The playful performance leaned into humor and theatrics, making it stand out from typical routines.
Clips of the segment spread rapidly on X, formerly known as Twitter, amassing millions of views. One post raved, “Israel ‘Dance with the Stars’ TV show featured one of the pairs dressed as President Trump and Melania Trump, and they absolutely killed it. This is a must-watch.” That clip alone drew over two million views, solidifying the act’s viral status.
The performance also earned praise from Trump supporters online. “This is very fun!” wrote former Trump campaign senior adviser Steve Cortes. “An overseas ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pair dressed as Pres Trump & the First Lady and CRUSHING it…” Political commentator April Silverman echoed the sentiment, calling it a “MUST WATCH!!” and saying the duo “absolutely killed it.”
