Hillary Clinton Social Media Post About 'Fascists' Creates Firestorm

Hillary Clinton is facing heavy backlash after publicly endorsing a new book from American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten that brands political opponents as “fascists.”

On Wednesday, Clinton posted a photo of Weingarten holding her book Why Fascists Fear Teachers along with a congratulatory message. “From banning books to controlling curriculum, authoritarians go after public education because it's a cornerstone of democracy,” Clinton wrote, calling the book “a critical read for this moment.”

The endorsement immediately drew fire from conservatives, who accused Clinton of doubling down on divisive rhetoric in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Robinson, the suspect in the killing, had allegedly etched anti-conservative phrases, including “fascist,” onto bullet casings.

“It’s been one week since Charlie Kirk was murdered by a lunatic who wrote about ‘fascists’ on shell casings,” GOP strategist Matt Whitlock said on X. “Now, Randi Weingarten has a new book arguing everyone who disagrees with her views on public education … is a fascist.”

Corey DeAngelis, a senior fellow at the American Culture Project, also slammed Clinton and Weingarten. “Hillary Clinton and Randi Weingarten are going full speed ahead with this disgusting rhetoric right after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Sick people,” he posted.

Clinton has not responded to the criticism, but her post continues to circulate widely on social media, intensifying debate over political language and its consequences.
