On Tuesday, President Joe Biden stumbled and stuttered through his first State of the Union address, and completely butchered numerous lines from his prepared speech. He even went rogue a few times and ad-libbed lines that were completely off the wall.
Perhaps the speech would have gone better if he'd just let us read from the teleprompters ourselves.
Here are his biggest gaffes from the speech:
1. Biden confuses “Iranian people” with “Ukrainian people.”
“Putin may circle Kyiv with tanks, but he will never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people,” he declared. Apparently he was SUPPOSED to say "hearts and souls of the Ukrainian people.”

2. He mentions “a pound of Ukrainian people”
Biden mentioned “a pound of Ukrainian people" when he was supposed to say “proud of Ukrainian people."

3. Biden stutters over use of “Rust Belt”
“It’s time to see the uh the uh what used to be called the Rust Belt become the uh uh um the home of uh significant resurgence in manufacturing," he said.
4. He demands “investigating” the police instead of “investing” in the police.
Instead of calling for investing into the police, Biden said, “I know what works — investigating crime prevention, and community policing, cops who walk the beat."
5. Biden says you cannot build a wall to keep out coronavirus, vaccine
“You can’t build a wall high enough to keep out a-a-a-a a vaccine. The vaccine can stop the spread of these diseases,” he said.

6. Biden slurs while saying “health premiums”
The president referred to “health progremiums.”
7. He references “Russian Roubelle”
Biden stumbled over his pronunciation of the word “ruble,” a word repeatedly referred to during the Russian attack on Ukraine.
8. Biden says “infects” of climate change instead of “effects”
“[W]e’ll do it to withstand the devastating infects of climate change and promote environmental justice,” he said.
9. What?? Biden rambles about corporations in America
“There are more corporations incorporated in America than every other state in America combined, and I still won 36 years in a row,” Biden said.
10. ‘Go git ‘em’
Biden concluded his speech with the phrase, "Go git 'em!" cringe.
