Health care professionals signed a letter saying a specific type of protesting does not violate coronavirus social distancing restrictions while others do.
During "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Friday, Carlson called out the hypocrisy in this. He pointed out how just weeks ago the "medical emergency" we are dealing with was "more important than your rights."
More than 1,200 health officials reportedly signed a letter claiming the George Floyd protests should be allowed and shouldn't be “confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders.”
“Those actions not only oppose public health interventions, but are also rooted in white nationalism and run contrary to respect for Black lives,” the letter continued.
Tucker put them on blast for "lying" about the need for restrictions in the beginning.
