M&M characters are ditching their quirky, unique personalities in order to be more "inclusive" to the fragility of today's society.
On Thursday, M&M's owner Mars Wrigley announced that they have a “global commitment to creating a world where everyone feels they belong and society is inclusive.”
The changes to come include Ms. Green M&M losing her peach-colored legs and stilettos in exchange for white legs and tennis shoes. Mars stated that they want her to be “better represented to reflect confidence and empowerment, as a strong female, and known for much more than her boots.”
In addition, Ms. Brown M&M will have her heels lowered to a "professional height," and the two females will no longer be rivals but rather "together throwing shine and not shade.”
Anxious Mr. Orange, who Mars describes as “one of the most relatable characters with Gen-Z, the most anxious generation,” will no longer have his shoes untied,
Mr. Red M&M will start being nicer to his fellow chocolate candy characters instead of being seen as a "bully."

The new versions of the characters will roll out online this week and will start appearing on M&M’s packaging later this year.
The changes are meant to increase a “sense of belonging for 10 million people around the world by 2025,” according to Mars.
Mars Wrigley's chief growth officer Cathryn Sleight said, “M&M’s has long been committed to creating colorful fun for all, and this purpose serves as a more concrete commitment to what we’ve always believed as a brand: that everyone has the right to enjoy moments of happiness, and fun is the most powerful way to help people feel that they belong."
All I'm saying is, if it's not broke, don't fix it! There is no need for a rebranding of chocolate candy to appease the woke mob. If they are that sensitive, let them cry about it.
