California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom warned fellow Democrats that a “red wave” is coming on Tuesday due to the party not doing enough to compete with Republicans on "messaging."

When asked whether or not a red wave is coming, Newsom said, “Yeah. Of course, it does. And again, I’m not paid to say that, I’m paid to say, you know, [indistinguishable] — I get it. Look, I mean, I could be the cheerleader. I’m also a pragmatist. You feel it.”
Newsom also added Democrats are “getting crushed on narrative.”
He also stands by his claim of having "no interest" in running for president. When asked if he would "never" run he said "yeah."
Newsom will spend days leading up to midterms campaigning for Democrats in his home state of California.
