Former Fox News Host Makes Gloomy Prediction for the Network After Tucker's Departure

On Monday, Glenn Beck, a former Fox News host, forecasted that the exit of Tucker Carlson from the network would have a fatal impact on the 24-hour news channel.

“I think that’ll kill Fox, I really do,” Beck said. “I know so many people that still kinda like Fox, they watch other shows, but they’re like, Tucker is the only one I really trust. You lose Tucker Carlson, I think that really kills them.”

“You’re getting rid of Tucker Carlson? Wow,” Beck continued. “Letting him walk out the door even? Wow.”

Fox News revealed Monday morning that they had reached an agreement to part ways with Tucker Carlson, and the network will now feature a rotating lineup of hosts to anchor news coverage during the 8 p.m. time slot previously occupied by "Tucker Carlson Tonight," as stated by host Harris Faulkner.

Less than a week after Fox News settled a $787.5 million lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems, Tucker Carlson departed from the network, which avoided a trial that could have compelled Carlson and other personalities of the channel to testify.

Beck, founder of the Blaze, may be holding out hope that Carlson will come work with him.

“Tucker Carlson and I have become friends, and hopefully I’ll be able to talk with him today,” Beck said. “I don’t know what the situation is, but Tucker, come to Jamaica. We would love to have you here, you won’t miss a beat, and together, the two of us would tear it up, just tear it up.”
