The father of a teen murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2008 appeared on "Fox & Friends" Sunday. He said that because it was not a case of police brutality his case received no attention from the Black Lives Matter movement.
"It seems like Black Lives Matter only focuses on black people who were murdered by the police," Jamiel Shaw said on Fox & Friends. "You know, my son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people because I thought for sure I would have a lot of support in the black community.
"But, because of the illegal aliens and the way they get all the support in California, no one would jump on board because they didn't want to have to, you know, justify the illegal-alien part. So, they just let me go by myself."
Jamiel Shaw Jr., 17, was shot and killed in 2008 by Pedro Espinoza when he was mistaken for a rival gang member. Espinoza was convicted and sentenced to death.
When my Son was Murdered I reached out to every so called Black leader in L.A. to get help with the Murder of my son. Every one of them was in the bed with the illegal aliens. BLM and Black Politicians in L.A. only support Black people who were Murdered by the Police, Period

"All black people should matter," Shaw said, claiming a double-standard exists among the Black Lives Matter movement sparked by the death of George Floyd.
Shaw also said dying at the hands of the police shouldn't be "some kind of death lottery, like, 'yeah, I won. I was murdered by the police, so we get something out of it.' Everybody else just gets screwed and has to sit on the sidelines and pretend like, you know, they’re getting over it."
Despite the numbers of deaths to police brutality is a much lower number than many other causes of death, BLM has chosen to focus only on police brutality. Shaw was left on the outside looking in.
