A prank on a Missouri dad has gone viral. His wife and kids stuck a massive photo of his face onto his checked luggage. This ensured he'd easily spot his bag on the carousel.
Kelsey Thorne, 29, pulled the prank on her dad, Mike Bone. They were traveling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Thorne said her dad is colorblind. This sometimes makes finding his belongings difficult.
"My mom, Carrie Bone, and I joked about how long it takes to find our luggage. My dad is colorblind," Thorne, a U.S. Army medic from De Soto, told Fox News Digital via email.
She added, "[We] came up with the idea to make a giant sticker for his suitcase."
Thorne owns an embroidery and custom goods shop. Making the sticker was easy for her.
She made the sticker the next day. Her mom and older brother Taylor helped plan the prank.
"While my mom distracted my dad, I placed the sticker on his suitcase. We packed it into the car," she said.
"My dad dropped us off at the airport front. While he parked, we sneaked his suitcase out."
Thorne posted a TikTok video showing her dad’s reaction. The family arrived at the baggage claim area at Punta Cana International Airport. The video got more than 8.2 million views.

"At first, he was confused as people laughed and yelled, ‘Here’s your suitcase,’" she said.
Once he realized what his family did, he loved the sticker.
Thorne added her dad, a realtor, wanted similar stickers for his company.
She said, "I don’t think any of us could stop laughing."
Thorne wasn’t expecting the video to go viral. She's "glad everyone enjoyed it" as much as her family did.
"We all need funny, wholesome moments every now and then," she said.
