Dairy Queen has released many dipped cone flavors over the years. Churro, Fruity Blast, and the iconic cherry are just a few. Now, they're back with something new for Oreo fans.
Food blogger @snackolator shared the news on Instagram. The new Cookie Monster Dipped Cone is bright blue, just like the Sesame Street character. It features cookies and cream pieces in the dip, adding taste and texture.
Fans were excited in the comments. "My level of excitement for this is ridiculous!" one person said. "I'm definitely trying this," another added.
Snackolator mentioned Dairy Queen tests items "at least a season" before launching them. The Cookie Monster Dipped Cone might come out in late 2024 or even 2025. The locations testing it are not confirmed, but someone from a Glencoe, Minn., Dairy Queen shared the news.
Dairy Queen said they're always innovating their menu. They test new flavors in select stores. Fans can check Dairy Queen's social channels for updates. Product offerings may vary by location.
Earlier this year, Dairy Queen brought back the Cherry Dipped Cone for a limited time. It was discontinued in 2023, disappointing many fans. In February, they also introduced the Confetti Dipped Cone with a cake-flavored coating and colorful sprinkles.
The Cookie Monster Dipped Cone isn't the only new treat. Dairy Queen's summer Blizzard menu arrived in April. It has three new flavors and three returning favorites. New Blizzards include Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party, Picnic Peach Cobbler, and Ultimate Cookie. Returning ones are Frosted Animal Cookie, Brownie Batter, and Cotton Candy.
