Since President Donald Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court, there have been rumors and accusations that she will strike down the Affordable Care Act and leave those with pre-existing conditions out in the cold.
On Monday's airing of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Senator Ted Cruz set the record straight, stating that the rumors are "nonsense. Because all the Republicans agree we’re going to protect pre-existing conditions.”
Cruz said, “And you know what’s quite interesting, Sean, so the Democratic talking point that all the Democrats are using — they’ve got amazing message discipline — is they’re all saying this is about health care and pre-existing conditions, which is nonsense. Because all the Republicans agree we’re going to protect pre-existing conditions.”
