According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Biden administration is bringing Afghans into the United States that are infected with viruses such as measles, malaria, tuberculosis.
Ironic considering he is trying to mandate for Americans to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, yet he is okay with importing Afghans ridden with other diseases and viruses as well as allowing the massive influx of migrants across the southern border without any sort of vetting.
CDC officials wrote in a release on Monday:
As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified by public health departments of 16 measles cases among the evacuees. All patients confirmed to have measles have been isolated and provided care, and their contacts have been quarantined. Contacts who were not immune were given the MMR vaccine or, if not vaccine-eligible, immunoglobulin. [Emphasis added]
Evacuees who are in the United States are required to be vaccinated with MMR and complete a 21-day quarantine from the time of vaccination at U.S. ‘Safe Haven’ designated locations, such as military bases. [Emphasis added]
There have already been measles outbreaks at multiple U.S. military bases where the Afghans are being temporarily housed, including:
- Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia
- Fort Pickett in Virginia
- Fort Lee in Virginia
- Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico
- Fort McCoy in Wisconsin
- Fort Bliss in Texas
- Fort Dix in New Jersey
- Camp Atterbury in Indiana
There have also been outbreaks of varicella, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, hepatitis A, and coronavirus.
Biden has stated that he plans to resettle about 95,000 Afghans across the Unites States over the next year.
