"Billions And Billions": JD Vance Outlines Massive "War On Fraud" After SOTU

Vice President JD Vance spelled out his leading role in the administration’s newly declared "war on fraud" Wednesday, following President Donald Trump’s historic State of the Union address. Vance told "America’s Newsroom" that the president has tasked him with a "full, whole government approach" to investigate how American taxpayers have been defrauded. The initiative will enlist the Justice and Treasury Departments to locate fiscal records and expose billions in "stolen" resources.

Vance raised "vicious" concerns that government officials may have become wealthy or received campaign donations by being "complicit" in widespread malpractice. He specifically pointed to the "outrageous" amount of Medicaid funding being diverted to illegal aliens instead of serving American citizens. "I don't know what the top line number is, and I think that's unfortunate, that nobody has ever tried to take a systematic look at how much fraud there is in the federal government," Vance noted.

The vice president also highlighted the "disgraceful" rise of fraudulent daycare centers that are allegedly being set up to siphon money away from working families. He emphasized that the administration will use a "whole host of tools" that have been ignored by previous "scoundrels" in Washington for decades. "The president said, 'Great idea, let's do it,' and we're going to work on that very aggressively over the next year," Vance added.

Beyond fiscal reform, Vance used his appearance to blast congressional Democrats for their "shameful" behavior during the State of the Union. He pointed out that most Democrats remained seated when Trump challenged them to prioritize the interests of American citizens over illegal immigrants. Vance described the refusal to stand as a "sad commentary" on a party that has been hijacked by a "far-left fringe."

The vice president observed that some Democrats appeared to be "looking around for cues" from their colleagues rather than standing for "common sense" principles. He suggested that many were simply "worried about being primaried" and lacked the courage to support a statement that should not be controversial. "That, more than anything, Bill, is the saddest commentary on the Democratic Party," Vance said.

The administration’s "war on fraud" is expected to be a long-term effort to ensure that the "American Manufacturing Renaissance" is not undermined by corruption. While the initial probes aim to uncover as much as possible in the coming months, Vance clarified that the mission will continue throughout the president's term. For the Trump-Vance team, the goal is simple: stop the "clown show" of government waste and return every dollar to the American people.
