Remember, when you are being questioned by a police officer it's best to just follow the rules. Despite being knowingly recorded with a man's camera phone while questioning the suspect, this police officers kept his cool and patience for quite a while.
Instead of cooperating with the police officer, many people are worried about how many views they are going to get on YouTube. He could have stepped out of the car and cooperated, like most people who are being questioned by police. Instead he made it about himself and his video.
The cop showed plenty of patience up until a point. He looked into the camera phone and told the young man he was about get his "ass whooped" in front of "all Lord and creations." Soon after he unbuckled the seat belt and ripped him outta the car.

There are times when a police officer could be more patient. But when a young man is showing blatant disrespect and more worried about making a video than cooperating with the officer, you don't leave much choice.
Of course he is playing victim.

This even occurred in 2019, but the reason the story has resurfaced is because it is the officer, Charles Hewitt, is being investigated. He has been placed on administrative leave.
“The conduct displayed by Trooper (Charles) Hewitt during the course of the traffic stop is not in agreement with the established standards of conduct required of a Virginia trooper. Nor is it characteristic of the service provided daily across the Commonwealth of Virginia by Virginia State Police personnel,” Superintendent Col. Gary T. Settle said in a statement, per WTOP News.
