The Biden administration is receiving criticism from numerous Republican presidential candidates due to a contentious Pride event last weekend where videos featuring topless trans activists were recorded.
The Biden team, on Tuesday, accepted that the conduct of the activists was excessive. However, this acceptance has not stemmed the tide of critique directed towards President Biden and the pro-trans policies promoted by him and his Democratic colleagues.

"I’m livid and incensed by this White House, not only for the kids present at this event, but the message this sends to children across the country," Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., told Fox News Digital. "Biden’s disregard for commonsense and protocol is deeply troubling. This obscenity is never acceptable, let alone at the White House that belongs to the people."
Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley referenced a 2020 quote from President Biden with respect to the White House."In the words of Joe Biden on Sept. 6, 2020, ‘We need to restore honor and decency to the White House.’ I couldn’t agree more. It’s time for Joe to go," she said.
Miami Mayor Francis Suarez conveyed to Fox that despite President Biden diminishing the prestige of the presidency through his misdirected policies that have resulted in a less secure and less affluent America, he acted appropriately in criticizing the conduct of the activists.
"This is the peoples’ house, and when I am President, respect and decorum to the home and the office of the presidency will be restored," Suarez said.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also criticized President Biden for the incident during a press conference on Thursday. He expressed to the audience that the event was "inappropriate," and raised questions about why the administration would object to such behavior but not when it pertains to the curriculum for second-grade students.
