Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson spoke on Sunday about "systemic racism." While he acknowledged the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis was "blatant and callous murder" he said issues over system racism are "very uncommon now."
“I grew up in a time when there was real systemic racism,” Carson said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” when he was asked about the issue of systemic racism being a problem with law enforcement agencies.
“I remember as an 8th grade student, I was the only black student, I got the highest academic achievement and the teacher got up and berated the other students. They weren't trying hard enough because black kid was number one,” Carson continued. “That kind of thing was not uncommon when I was growing up. That kind of thing is very uncommon now.”

Carson also acknowledged there are "absolutely" still racists around.
“There were yesterday, there are today, and there will be tomorrow. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't fight it,” Carson said.
How will the left respond to Carson's very well thought out take on systemic racism in America? Probably by calling him an "Uncle Tom" or bringing up his devotion to President Trump.
Unless you agree with them, then you are an idiot or a racist. Or if you are black, you are an "Uncle Tom." It's despicable.
