On Thursday in the Capitol, Chaya Raichik, a TikTok creator, accused Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., of lying, which led to her storming off. As she left, Ocasio-Cortez also criticized Raichik for being "super transphobic."
At the congresswoman's office, Raichik submitted an ethics complaint alleging that the "Squad" member had defamed her during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on February 8.
Upon spotting the Democrat walking through the Capitol, the Libs of TikTok creator took the opportunity to confront her.
It appears that Raichik had not yet disclosed her identity, as she first approached Ocasio-Cortez to take a picture with her before revealing who she was.

"I just delivered an ethics complaint to your office because you lied about me in a committee hearing," Raichik said.
Without delay, Ocasio-Cortez withdrew and stated, "I actually didn't, because you’re actually super transphobic and I never want to share a space with you. Thank you!"
Afterward, the Democrat proceeded to walk away. Ocasio-Cortez accused Raichik of lying in a tweet from 2022, where she claimed that Boston Children's Hospital was offering "gender-affirming hysterectomies" for young girls.
Raichik had posted videos from the children's hospital where doctors claimed to offer "gender-affirming hysterectomies."
"Are you aware… that from August 11th to August 16th that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?" tegarding that tweet, Ocasio-Cortez inquired a former Twitter executive.
Last week, Raichik was unsuccessful at finding the Democrat at her Capitol Hill office to confront her.

The Heritage Foundation has requested the Office of Congressional Ethics to initiate an investigation into the Democrat on Raichik's behalf this week for "falsely accusing" and "defaming" the Libs of TikTok creator. The nine-page complaint defends Raichik's assertion that Boston Children's Hospital performs gender-affirming hysterectomies on young girls.
